Public Consultation Update

West Town Edinburgh Ltd has submitted Proposal of Application Notices (PoANs) to the City of Edinburgh Council for a new homes-led town centre neighbourhood for the 205-acre West Town site, located between Ingliston Park & Ride and the Gogar Roundabout. The PoANs are issued in advance of any public consultation and subsequent planning applications and give an outline intention of West Town Limited’s plan for the site and how local community consultation will be managed.

A second consultation was conducted between 3 and 24 November – including a public event on Thursday 3 November. We would like to thank all those who visited our live exhibition and website and completed feedback forms. This phase of the consultation is now closed. A previous online consultation event was held earlier this year, between 12 May and 3 June.

We were very pleased with the level of engagement generated by both our public consultations which provided valuable community feedback to help influence future planning decisions.
